My first Pink Saturday post is my pastel drawing of a rose. I am new to pastels but was quite pleased with the result.
I initially drew one rose and then copied it on my computer to make the actual picture.
A blend of traditional and new techniques.

ReplyDeleteYour drawing is beautiful. The flowers look as if they were surrounded by a heart.
ReplyDeleteI read your post about your Samson and the poem was so lovely. Our pets become family members so it is very difficult to let them go. Mr. Timeless Things still thinks of his Brown Boy. We have our memories of them to go back and re-live some of their best and funniest moments!

ReplyDeleteLovely roses - clever technique. Funny how we sometimes find our creativity later in life!
Hope your weekend was great looking out across my favorite and much missed bay. Today we celebrated Bob's B'day - a great day at the New Hampshire coast - see my post.
