TODAY’S FLOWERS 107

Thanks to Denise, I went out last weekend and photographed my Hydrangeas.
P1040049
They have been magnificent this year due to the rain.
P1040054
There are blue ones.
P1040055
Pinky Purple ones.
P1040056
Blue, pink and yellowy ones.
P1040058
And my favourite, the young flowers just emerging in all their brightness

P1040061
Grown so vigorously that they are blocking the path and kissing the bush on the other side.

And more fab flowers are here -

  1. They do look really great. Once I figured out not to prune my Hydrangeas in the spring I have been having a lot more flowers.

  3. Your hydrangeas are gorgeous. Oh how I wish I could grow this variety in my Zone 4 garden but it's just a tad too cold here in winter.

  11. Your hydrangeas are gorgeous. I have a big one that blocked my gate and I realized it had put out babies. I dug up the part of the bush that blocked the gate and put it in a spot in my back garden. Now it's almost as big as the mother bush. The mother has put out babies again but not sure I have the energy to divide it again.
